After last week’s reveal, the Audi TT clubsport turbo concept is back in the first official video. Likely the most radical TT to see the light of day, this one is for now only a concept and comes with the firm’s reputable 2.5-liter TFSI 5-cylinder engine but instead of having one turbocharged, it has another one which is electrical. Thanks to this e-turbo addition, the engine has been boosted to an amazing 600 PS and 650 Nm in a car that weighs only 1,396 kg (3,077 lbs).
In terms of performance, the concept manages to impress with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.6 seconds and a 192 mph (310 km/h) and in two and a half seconds it can cover 16 meters which is 6 meters more than a comparable car lacking the innovative e-turbo system.
The more aggressive body has made the Audi TT clubsport turbo concept 14cm wider than the regular version while at the back it has gained a manually adjustable wing sourced from the Audi Sport TT Cup racecar and manufactured from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). We should also mention the vehicle sits on bespoke 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped around in 275/30 tires.
The Audi TT clubsport turbo concept will be on display starting today at Worthersee.
