The Audi TT 2.0 TDI ultra has received from DieselCar magazine the “Best Sportscar Award” for 2015. This variant is equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine delivering 184 PS and a maximum torque of 380 Nm available between 1,750 rpm and 3,250 pm which according to Audi offers a level of performance similar to what you get from a TFSI engine.
It needs a decent 7.1 seconds to conquer the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint before reaching a maximum speed of 149 mph (240 km/h) and it can return more than 62 mpg. The Audi TT 2.0 TDI ultra sold in UK has a BIK threshold of only 21% which is the lowest in the TT range. The VED rating is in band C and it’s free for the first year while thereafter it will set you back just £30.
In terms of pricing, the Audi TT 2.0 TDI ultra coupe begins at £29,810 OTR while the roadster variant costs £31,995 OTR. Both versions are available now across Audi’s dealerships in United Kingdom.
Speaking about this model, DieselCar Magazine Editor and Publisher, Ian Robertson, says “despite evolving over the years, the shape of the Audi TT remains as one of the most instantly recognizable cars on the road, as well as being highly desirable.”
