Audi talks about the awards they won from June until October

Audi is giving us a short overview of the awards they managed to secure from June through October this year.

On June 5, Audi grabbed no less than three prizes during the Daily Telegraph Cars Award as the TT Coupe took first place in the “Best Sports Car” competition while the Audi A3 was the top choice in the “Best Design of the Year” and “Best Family Car” categories. The results came after readers of The Daily Telegraph were asked to rate cars in ten different categories. Later the same month on the 26th, the A3 Sportback e-tron quattro secured the Energy and Environment Prize from the automobile club “Kraftfahr-Schutz e. V.”(KS).

On August 3, the Q3 was selected as the Top Safety Pick 2015 in the United States by the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). On August 18, the A6 Avant scooped first place in a pole organized by handwerk magazine to discover the full-size Company Boss Station Wagon 2015 while the A4 Avant took first place in the midsize category.

Moving on to September, on the 14th Audi Entertainment mobile was voted “Product of the Year” in the twelfth Plus X Awards. In addition, the Audi Entertainment mobile tablet secured the company’s triumph in the Innovation, High Quality, Design, Operating Convenience and Functionality categories. One day later, the Q5 got Family Car of the Year award following a reader poll by the magazines Straßenverkehr and Eltern. On the 16th of the same month, the A4 1.8 TFSI won first place in the midsize category from the Auto Test magazine while the A6 2.0 TDI ultra achieved the same performance in the upper midsize segment. Moreover, on September 30 the A1 grabbed Best New Design of 2015 from Auto Motor und Sport.

Moving on to October, the second generation Q7 obtained second place in the EuroCarBody Awards 2015 while Handelsblatt voted Audi as the automobile brand of the year.
