Audi supplying about 300 cars to the 65th Berlin International Film Festival

Audi has announced plans to provide no less than around 300 cars for the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. The German marque is the main sponsor of the event and for the first time ever the Audi Short Film Award will be presented in the Berlinale Shorts category. Audi in collaboration with Berlinale have collaborated for the Berlinale Open House program which includes approximately 30 events with important guests.

All nominees for the aforementioned Audi Short Film Award are directors which will compete to have their films selected as the best short film in the Berlinale Shorts section, with the winner set to be announced on February 14 by Wahyuni A. Hadi (director of the Singapore International Film Festival), Madhusree Dutta (Indian filmmaker) and Halil Alt?ndere (publisher of the Turkish art magazine art-ist).

The Audi Berlinale Lounge will open its doors in time for the 65th Berlin International Film Festival on February 5. It’s open to the public and boasts a two-story pavilion offering a great view of the red carpet.
