Unveiled back in February, the Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro selection is on display this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s actually a limited edition of the RS4 which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the company’s first ever “RS” model, the RS2. Like the original model, the limited-run version features a Nogaro blue body paint featuring a pearl effect look. The roof rails adopt a matte black finish whereas the front grille and window slot trims have received a high gloss look.
Audi equipped this model with 20-inch rims wrapped around in 265/30 tires while behind them are red brake calipers. At an additional cost, the vehicle can receive carbon fiber front ceramic disc brakes. The interior cabin has received a black and blue theme with special badging on the side sills and gear knob. There are Valcona leather and Alcantara appointments as well as carbon inlays.
Motivation of the Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro selection is provided by the same 4.2-liter V8 naturally-aspirated motor borrowed from the stock RS4 Avant. The engine is capable of developing 450 PS (331 kW) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque channeled to the quattro all-wheel drive system via a dual-clutch seven-speed S tronic gearbox.
Thanks to this hardware arrangement, the high-performance wagon needs only 4.7 seconds for the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint and is able to reach a maximum speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). All these can be had for a starting price of 87,300 euros.
