Audi shows off the tablet inside 2015 Q7

Audi Deutschland has released a new video for the 2015 Q7, this time showcasing the tablet inside their flagship SUV. It’s part of the newly developed rear seat entertainment system and one or two Audi tablets are available at an additional cost. These have 10.1 inch screens and were developed to serve as rear seat monitors. Power for these two tablets comes from an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and some of the most interesting features include the fact that it’s temperature resistant and also provides the necessary crash safety.

As expected, the Audi tablet inside the 2015 Q7 works together with the MMI navigation plus through a Wi-Fi connection which means the passengers sitting on the rear seats can control the radio, navigation, media as well as the car functions. Moreover, a rear passenger has the possibility of introducing a new navigation destination and he can also browse the Internet through the aforementioned Wi-Fi connection.

The Audi tablet runs on the Android operating system and provides accessibility to the massive Google Play store. Once the trip is over, the rear passengers can simply remove the tablets from their mounts and use it elsewhere. It should be mentioned the tablet features a generous 32GB of internal storage and comes with a full HD camera while Bluetooth and NFC connections are supported.
