The 2015 TT is being showcased in a new video recorded by Audi in Marbella, southern Spain. The vehicle featured in the clip is the more potent TT S Coupe which rewards buyers with a 310 HP output coming from an uprated 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine that generates a peak torque of 380 Nm. Equipped with a quattro all-wheel drive system, the hot coupe sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Compared to the other 2015 TT versions, the TT S sits 10mm lower and all variants have a rear spoiler automatically deployable at speeds of more than 121 km/h (75 mph). All cars ride on the MQB platform and although the overall length has decreased by 20mm, the wheelbase has been stretched by 37mm so there’s a more spacious interior cabin now where the cargo capacity has increased by 13 liters to 305 liters.
Gearbox choices for the 2015 TT include a six-speed manual transmission and an optional S tronic gearbox while inside the cabin there’s a stunning 12.3-inch configurable digital instrument cluster. Audi has also installed an impressive Bang & Olufsen sound system with 12 speakers, a 14-channel amplifier as well as woofers mounted on the doors.
