Audi of America has announced it 58th straight monthly sales record in United States in October when sales rose by 16.8%.
It seems the ongoing dieselgate hasn’t affected at all Audi’s sales as last month the Volkswagen-owned premium marque delivered 17,700 cars which represents a 16.8% increase compared to October 2014 when they shifted 15,150 units. October 2015 was also Audi’s fifth-best U.S. sales month ever while in the first ten months of the year their deliveries jumped by a significant 13% to 165,103 cars.
The impressive achievement was possible thanks to a major 31.1% sales hike for the Q3, Q5 and Q7 models, with Q3’s deliveries increasing by 29.9% compared to last year while sales of the Q5 and Q7 went up by 36.2% and 21.2%, respectively. Another blockbuster was the TT which has made the switch to the third generation that has enjoyed a huge 628.1% sales increase compared to 2014.
Despite being on its way to retirement, the A4 B8 posted a 27.7% increase compared to the same month of last year while the A7 and A3 enjoined year-over-year increases of 15.9% and 14.8%, respectively.
