Audi sales last year in the land Down Under went up by a whopping 20.1% compared to 2013. Deliveries rose by 3,218 units and the company is on track this year to crack the 20,000 mark thanks to the new models being released as well as the additional dealerships. It should be mentioned Audi has managed to take down its Australian sales record every year since 2004 and they will likely do it again this year thanks to the updated A1 and Q3 set to arrive by mid-2015.
Moreover, the TT Roadster and TT S Roadster are scheduled to go on sale in Australia in the third quarter of the year together with the TT S Coupe. Towards the end of the year Audi will launch the RS3 Sportback, around the same time when the second generation Q7 full-size SUV will hit Aussie dealerships.
All these models will be followed in 2016 by the Q7 e-tron, second-generation R8 (without e-tron version) and the Q1 which could arrive in 2017. Audi could also be cooking up production versions of the Q8, TT RS, TTQ and for the Prologue Avant.
Audi’s most popular model in Australia is the A3, but they are also seeing an increase in popularity for the A6 and A7 models.
