The Audi S8 Talladega represents the work of German tuner MTM and will be limited to just 25 examples. It’s a special edition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Bobby Unser’s record on the Talladega Speedway in Alabama as on March 24, 1986 he managed an average speed of 332 km/h and reached a maximum speed of 350 km/h in an Audi 5000CS Turbo.

The full package (including car) can be had for €189,708 and brings a massive power bump for the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine from the series 520 HP and 650 Nm to no less than 760 HP and 945 Nm. After making the adjustments, the Audi S8 Talladega will complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.48 seconds, the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) run in 10.51 seconds and will be able to reach an electronically-limited 202 mph (325 km/h). The top speed was capped in order to protect the tires but MTM says an unrestricted version can hit more than 217 mph (350 km/h).

The Audi S8 Talladega has also been equipped with an aerodynamic wide body kit featuring carbon fiber components, along with 21-inch Bimoto rims wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport 295/30 tires while the interior cabin has also been revised.
