Audi S3 driver somehow escapes crash at Nurburgring

This is one of those videos where it’s hard to tell whether we should appreciate the driver’s skills or consider this as pure luck. The attached footage involves a previous generation Audi S3 wearing a striking orange body paint while in Germany tackling the Nürburgring Nordschleife during what appears to be an action-packed track day.

It seems the driver tried to exit a left corner at an excessive speed and lost control of the rear wheels which caused the hot coupe to oversteer. Soon after that, the Audi S3 started spinning and was dangerously approaching the wall but divine intervention or the driver’s skills spun the car back to the right direction, without causing any sort of damages to the vehicle.

Maybe it was luck, maybe it was skill or both, at the end of the day he somehow someway managed to drive home without even a scratch on his Audi S3. Hopefully, next time he will be a little bit more careful when exiting a corner because the end result could be quite costly. Luckily, the incident did not affect incoming cars as no other crashes were reported so the “all’s well that ends well” idiom is most definitely applicable in this particular case.
