The Audi S3 Cabriolet has received an aftermarket package from German tuner MTM. It will be shown in the metal at next week’s 2015 Geneva Motor Show where it will come with a wide variety of enhancements such as high-performance brakes, carbon fiber mirror caps and bespoke alloy wheels. In addition, it will also boast a carbon fiber engine cover, body stripes, KW V1 suspension kit, carbon fiber rear diffuser, front spoiler lip while the front seat backs will also be made from carbon fiber. On the inside it gets LED door lights and a carbon fiber on the dashboard and steering wheel.
More importantly, the four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine has received a new turbo, a custom sports exhaust system along with the MTM Engine Management Unit. As a result of all the add-ons, the motor is now capable of developing no less than 426 HP (313 kW) and a peak torque of 390 lb-ft (530 Nm).
After the upgrades are implemented, the Audi S3 Cabriolet will need just 4.4 seconds to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint and 14.4 seconds from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) on its way to a top speed of 167 mph (270 km/h) which has been electronically limited.
