If you happen to be the owner of an Audi S1 or S3 then we have good news for you as H&R has just launched a series of suspension upgrades. Let’s start with the smallest of the bunch, the S1, which can be fitted with a newly developed set of sport springs which will lower the supermini’s front axle by 25mm while the rear axle is dropped by 30mm. Also on the menu are Trak+ wheel spacers to make the alloys look beefier in their wheel arches as these can widen the track by 6-60mm per axle.
Moving onto the S3, a custom set of sport springs lowers the front and rear axles by approximately 25mm are available from H&R providing the compact model with a more aggressive stance. The aforementioned Trak+ wheel spacers are available for the S3 as well, widening the track by 6-60mm per axle.
As a short reminder, the Audi S1 is available in both three- and five-door versions with a 2.0 TFSI 4-cylinder engine outputting 231 PS (170 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) sent to a quattro AWD system. The bigger S3 can be had not only in the usual three- and five-door body styles but also as a sedan, with all of them sharing a 2.0 TFSI 4-cylinder engine rated at 300 PS (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). Needless to say, quattro comes standard across the S3 lineup.
