The Audi RS7 Sportback never fails to impress with its gorgeous looks and in some colors looks even better. Spotted here is an example wearing a very attractive Daytona Gray hue (an extra $500) tackling a slightly wet Nürburgring track in Germany. This model represents Audi’s answer to the BMW M6 GranCoupe and comes exclusively with a quattro all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Its beating heart is a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo gasoline engine sourced from the RS6 Avant which churns no less than 560 PS (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The high-powered four-door coupe sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 3.9 seconds on its way to a maximum speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Audi is willing to increase the top speed limiter to 174 mph (280 km/h) to those who are willing to pay more for the optional Dynamic Package. There’s even a Dynamic Plus package which allows the RS7 to hit an impressive 190 mph (305 km/h).
The Audi RS7 Sportback is offered with a sport suspension plus with dynamic ride control or an adaptive air suspension that decreases the vehicle’s ride height by 0.8 inches. The standard RS7 is equipped with seven twin-spoke 20-inch forged wheels but optionally it’s offered with larger 21-inch rims. Customers with deeper pockets can also choose the 16.5-inch carbon ceramic anthracite grey disc brakes.
Goodies on the inside include a carbon fiber trim, all-leather or black Alcantara / leather seats, gauges for oil temperature, boost pressure and lap timer, along with a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel covered in leather.
