Audi RS6 Avant looks interesting with matte green paint

Green is not a popular color choice among car buyers so it’s interesting to see an Audi RS6 Avant featuring a matte green look. We don’t know for sure if the car was painted this way or whether this is a body wrap although we are intended to believe it is paint from Audi’s Individual customization program.

Other than that, the hot wagon seems to be standard as it carries the familiar aggressive body with a huge glossy rear diffuser and dual oval exhaust pipes. We also notice that this particular car has a sunroof and has tinted rear windows.

At its heart is without any doubt the V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine unleashing no less than 560 PS (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. All that power is channeled to both axles with help from an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox working with the quattro system. Thanks to this hardware arrangement, the Audi RS6 Avant sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds before topping out at 155 mph (250 km/h).

Customers who opt for the Dynamics package can raise the top speed electronic limiter to 174 mph (280 km/h) while with the Dynamic Plus package the maximum speed is raised at 190 mph (305 km/h). It should be mentioned the engine benefits from cylinder-on-demand technology which can shut down half of the cylinders whenever these aren’t needed which allows the wagon to have an average fuel consumption of 9.8 liters / 100 km, making it 40 percent more economical than the old model.
