The Audi RS6 Avant is one of the most highly desirable cars on the planet, with its stunning good looks, immense power and wagon practicality. It’s about as close to a perfect daily driver as a car can get. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t be made even better. In this new video from Auditography, we take a look at a tuned RS6 Avant in the snow and it looks and sounds incredible.
In this video, the Audi RS6 Avant we get to see was tuned by BTM Turbo and makes a whopping 900 horsepower and 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque from its 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8. That’s a massive power bump from its stock 591 horsepower and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). According to the video, when this specific RS6 is on dry pavement (which it’s absolutely not in the video), it can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. That’s about half a second faster than the standard car.
Aside from the added power, it’s only lightly modified but those modifications make a huge difference. For instance, it has Milltek downpipes and a 200-cell racing catalytic converter, which both combine to give the Audi RS6 Avant a glorious V8 noise. So many modern exhausts make cars sound overly artificial but this exhaust setup is just about perfect for the RS6.
Watch the video and you’ll see the modified Tango Red RS6 play in the snow and it looks like a ton of fun. The bright red paintwork contrasts nicely against the white power and listening to its V8 roar while it slides around is genuinely good fun. It can also do impressive donuts in the snow, considering its Quattro all-wheel drive.
If you’re an Audi RS6 Avant owner (we’re jealous of you), these mods are great examples of what you can do to your car to make it more exciting, without making it too flashy.
