Audi RS5 modified by TAG Motorsports and HRE Wheels

A brand new 2014 Audi RS5 was recently tweaked by TAG Motorsports from San Diego, CA who had the pleasure of working on a beautiful Nardo Gray example with a full body XPEL wrap to protect the paint. It’s without any doubt one of the best color choices for the RS5 and on this model it blends quite nicely with the glossy black 21-inch HRE P101 Performance Wheels while behind them are custom Lamborghini Arianco Borealis calipers.

The list of changes doesn’t end here as the high-performance coupe also received Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 295/30/21 for all four wheels, along with Euro-spec headlights and KW’s DCC suspension arrangement. We should also mention AWE Tuning’s track extreme exhaust system and the reapplying of the RS badging denoting the car means business.

We remind you the Audi RS5 was facelifted for the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September 2011 and it comes with a naturally aspirated V8 4.2 FSI engine outputting 450 PS (331 kW) at 8,250 rpm and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) between 4,000 rpm and 6,000 rpm. The powerful motor is combined with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox which catapults the hot coupe to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds.

As standard, the top speed of the Audi RS5 is electronically limited at 155 mph (250 km/h) but for more money clients can ask Audi to increase the limiter to 174 mph (280 km/h). Like any RS model, this one too comes with the firm’s quattro all-wheel drive system and also benefits from three driving modes: Comfort, Auto and Dynamic.
