Audi RS5 Cabriolet modified by ABT Sportsline

The engineers from ABT Sportsline decided to play around with an Audi RS5 Cabriolet and installed a proprietary stainless steel muffler system that includes a mid and rear muffler which they say will provide the V8 engine with a better sound. The high-performance convertible has been equipped with a custom suspension kit that is height-adjustable and can bring the RS5 Cabrio closer to the road by up to 50mm.

The list of changes brought by ABT Sportsline to this Audi RS5 Cabriolet continues with fender inserts, several alloy wheels ranging in sizes from 19 to 20 inch, with some of them being offered with wheel spacers that should enable the vehicle to provide a sharper handling especially around the tight corners.

The 4.2-liter eight-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine was left untouched so it continues to churn 450 bhp and 317 lb-ft of peak torque channeled to the quattro AWD system through an S tronic seven-speed transmission. The Audi RS5 Cabriolet will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) or upon request the electronic limiter can be raised to 174 mph (280 km/h).
