Gone but not forgotten, the Audi RS4 B7 has been refreshed courtesy of an aftermarket treatment. It’s likely set to become a future classic and now the high-performance compact sedan has been revitalized courtesy of a 20-inch set of ADV1 brushed wheels from the ADV5 Track Function lineup. The new shoes have been combined with a slightly lowered ride height which gives this old US-spec RS4 a very nice stance.
We remind you the super sedan came out almost ten years ago with a massive 4.2-liter normally aspirated engine pushing out 420 hp which enables the model to perform the 0-100 km/h run in only 4.8 seconds which for 2006 was incredibly fast and almost on par with the supercars of those times. Purists certainly preferred the manual gearbox, but many people also appreciated Audi for offering an automatic.
As most of you know, there’s a new RS4 on its way and will be offered in both Sedan and Avant body styles once it will come out likely in the second half of 2016. It will eschew the normally aspirated engine in favor of a smaller six-cylinder benefiting from an electric turbocharger which will boost output to somewhere in the region of 480 hp, so it will be definitely worth the wait.
