A tricked out Audi RS4 Avant finished in Merlin Purple has received a set of flashy Vossen Wheels. This is actually a US-spec car which started life as a regular A4 Avant, but was converted into an RS4 hot wagon by a local body shop called De’ Caudella which made a trip to Europe to borrow the front and rear bumpers, doors, front fenders and the rear quarters. After that, the vehicle was repainted in this special Audi Exclusive paint to create a special look for the compact wagon.
To top it all off, this Audi RS4 Avant (B7 generation) aka “Grocery Getter” has been pampered with a set of limited-run VLE-1 alloy wheels from Vossen which measure 20×10.5 for both axles and adopt a Silver Metallic finish. There’s also an air suspension module to make the car stand out even more, especially since the RS4 Avant was never sold in United States even though there is some strong demand.
Maybe things will change with the next model due to come out in a couple of years without the naturally aspirated V8 engine as Audi has previously announced plans to use a downsized motor, possibly a V6 turbo which will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while providing more power than the larger engine inside the outgoing RS4 Avant which was recently discontinued.
