Audi RS3 Sportback shows its roots in new promo clip

The Audi RS3 Sportback is back in another promotional video, this time alongside the legendary Audi quattro. This new ad is called “Rally” and tries to point out the original quattro served as foundation for a plethora of high performance Audi models, with the latest examples being the RS3 which like all the other RS-badged models comes with a quattro all-wheel drive system.

The new hot hatchback was “born restless” and is actually the most powerful compact hatchback in the world thanks to its iconic 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. It pumps out 367 PS and 465 Nm and these are best-in-class figures right now, but Mercedes-Benz has already announced the facelifted A45 AMG will get back the power crown later this year. However, we won’t be too surprised if Audi will eventually launch an RS3 Plus version with even more power.

The Audi RS3 Sportback is an impressive and potent machine capable of hitting 100 km/h from a standstill in a mere 4.3 seconds before topping out at an electronically-limited 250 km/h while upon request the limiter can be increased to 280 km/h.

Deliveries of the hot hatchback from Ingolstadt are starting this summer across Europe while United States will get it later on, possibly in the sedan body style.
