Audi RS3 Sportback launched in South Africa from R 710,000

The Audi RS3 Sportback has finally arrived in South Africa where it carries a starting price of R 710,000.

“Power in a compact form” is the RS3’s motto and the 1,520 kg mega-hatch has landed in SA with its reputable 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbo engine generating 270 kW and 465 Nm. All that power is channeled to the well-known quattro system via a 7-speed S tronic which helps the model rocket to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and top out at an electronically-capped 250 km/h or an optional 280 km/h.

This ZA-spec version comes generously equipped with 19-inch rims, a sports suspension, xenon plus headlights and light & rain sensors. You also get as standard front sport seats (with RS embossing), Parking System Plus, Nappa leather upholstery and cruise control while Audi drive select is also part of the deal.
