Audi RS3 by ABT now developing 450 PS and 550 Nm

Remember ABT’s upgrade kit for the Audi RS3 Sportback? Well, now it’s back with even more power than before.

The newest iteration of the package will be presented starting Friday at the Essen Motor Show and the highlight will be represented by the upgraded turbocharged 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter. It now develops a massive 450 PS and 550 Nm, representing a 20 PS & 20 Nm increase over the previous kit created by ABT. For the sake of comparison, a stock RS3 “only” has 367 PS and 465 Nm.

The tuner isn’t saying a word about performances, but most likely the 0-100 km/h task is now completed in about 4 seconds before the mega-hatch tops out at around 290 km/h. We are making these assumptions based on the fact that ABT’s original tuned RS3 runs the sprint in 4.1 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 285 km/h.

As you can see, there’s more to the tuning package than only a power bump as the car now has an appealing red matte body contrasted by glossy black accents. It sits on 19-nch forged wheels wrapped in Continental 235/35 ZR19 tires and has been lowered by 30 mm front & 25 mm rear thanks to the new springs set.

We should also mention the custom exhaust setup with four tips that have a 102 mm diameter and a black chrome finish. On the inside there’s plenty of Alcantara, carbon trim, silver accents and other minor tweaks.
