The Audi RS3 and Q8 will be commercialized in United States according to a recent statement made by a company official. Speaking to Automotive News, Audi of America CEO Scott Keogh announced the RS3 will probably take the shape of a sedan for the U.S. market whereas in Europe it’s sold in the Sportback body style. He referred to the model as being “a great positioning car, a great halo car” and he strongly believes it will arrive in U.S. dealerships.
He also went on to specify the Q8 is going to be sold in United States and chances are it will happen in 2017 taking into account the model is bound to reach Europe most likely in the second half of next year. He said the Q8 is going to be a “home run product for U.S.” and that it definitely has to make it to America.
In the same interview, Audi of America CEO Scott Keogh announced there are slim chances of seeing the Q1 in United States because they believe the company won’t be able to offer the model at a suitable price and value combination.
Getting back to the Audi RS3, it will probably be out in US-spec towards the end of this year and is going to be commercialized as a 2016MY.
