The Audi RS Q3 facelift is currently on display at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The car was introduced to the public at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit back in January and now it’s making its European debut, bringing an additional 30 HP and 30 Nm of torque compared to its predecessor. This means the 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine now develops an even more impressive 340 HP (250 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft).
As you would expect from an RS model, output of the engine is channeled to a quattro all-wheel drive system via a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. Thanks to this arrangement, the high-performance compact crossover will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds on its way to a top speed which has been electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
Aside from receiving a healthy power boost, the Audi RS3 Q3 facelift has been gifted with a newly developed RS exhaust system that comes with switchable flaps which according to Audi allow the model generate a more powerful sound during hard accelerations.
Sales of the Audi RS Q3 facelift are programmed to begin in the first quarter of the year, with pricing in Germany beginning at €56,600.
