Audi releases “Swim” commercial featuring A7 Sportback

Audi has released a new ad entitled “Swim” which features the A7 Sportback. It’s not about this car in particular as the commercial wants to explain that Audi has “embraced the challenger spirit” just like the child described as being a “young rebel”. Although the sign clearly stated that no one should jump in the people within an hour after eating, the kid decided to take the plunge and face the consequences.

What’s really surprising if not a bit shocking is the child’s imagination prior to jumping into the pool, thinking that he could go to prison for breaking the rule. Through this ad, Audi wants to say they have been at the forefront of the automotive industry by accepting new challenges, accepting the risk that in some cases the consequences could greatly affect the marque.

As a final note, the vehicle driven by the child’s mother is a facelifted A7 Sportback 3.0T quattro in US specification, with power coming from a six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine developing 310 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 325 lb-ft at 2,900 rpm. The supercharged gasoline engine grants the sleek A7 with a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 5.4 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
