A brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus is currently on display at Audi Forum Neckarsulm in Germany. This beauty will set you back at least €187,400 in Germany and in return you will be getting a proper supercar equipped with an evolution of the naturally aspirated V10 5.2-liter engine which is now more powerful than ever, being capable of developing no less than 610 PS (449 kW) and a maximum torque of 413 lb-ft (560 Nm).
Tipping the scales at only 3,205 lbs (1,454 kg), the second generation Audi R8 V10 Plus needs just 3.2 seconds to cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint and it will keep on accelerating until it hits a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).
It comes equipped as standard with LED headlights but at an additional cost you can get it with optional laser headlights which double the range to approximately 600 meters. Needless to say, a quattro all-wheel drive system is standard and works with an revised 7-speed S tronic gearbox benefiting from three automatic modes and manual control. This range-topping variant comes with 20-inch alloys wrapped around in 245/30 front and 305/30 rear tires, with stopping power being provided by carbon fiber ceramic discs.
Audi has announced the overhauled R8 lineup will go on sale this summer.
