The brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus has been spotted while taking part in a commercial filming also featuring a Ducati 1299 Panigale S. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Audi’s portfolio, the Ingolstadt-based automaker purchased Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati in April 2012 which is why the new R8 is sitting alongside a Ducati product for an upcoming ad.
Deliveries of the Audi R8 V10 Plus are set to commence later this year for those willing to pay at least the €187,400 starting price in Germany. In return for this serious chunk of change, you will be getting a proper supercar equipped with the latest evolution of Audi’s FSI V10 5.2-liter normally aspirated engine pushing out no less than 610 PS (449 kW) and a maximum torque of 560 Nm (413 lb-ft).
All that power translates into a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in only 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h) for a vehicle which tips the scales at 3,205 lbs (1,454 kg). The model rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and benefits from several carbon fiber bits and pieces along with a fixed rear wing.
