Although it has reached quite a venerable age, the Audi R8 GT still manages to be a viable source of inspiration from aftermarket specialists. The latest example comes from SGA Aerodynamics which has just revealed a full body kit entitled “XII” for the German supercar. Its creators specify the changes have been developed in such a way so that they generate additional downforce on the vehicle’s axles.
The visual makeover starts on the front fascia where there’s a redesigned bumper featuring multi-level angular air intakes as well as sharp blades. Also noticeable are the more imposing angular side skirts together with a tweaked rear bumper featuring a built-in diffuser. Rounding off the list of body changes would have to be the rear wing.
MAE Design was in charge of providing the vehicle with a custom exhaust system that comes with a valve system controllable with help from a radio remote system. As a final touch, the Audi R8 GT seen here rides on three-piece 21-inch forged alloy wheels and benefits from a coilover suspension system which is fully adjustable.
Pricing details have not been disclosed but Audi R8 GT owners can contact SGA Aerodynamics to find out how much these upgrades cost.
