Audi R18 e-tron quattro getting Lego version

The Le Mans-winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro is about to receive an unofficial Lego version as seen in the attached image. Despite not being sold with Audi’s stamp of approval, the vehicle does adopt the most notable styling cues of the LMP1 car such as the vertical headlights, stacked nose and similar front fenders. Needless to say, some differentiations have been implemented to make the Lego car look slightly different than the real deal in order to avoid being labeled as an unlicensed copy.

Those who are big fans of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro should notice right away this isn’t a true miniature replica since not only does it lack the four-ringed logo but it also comes with a green exterior paint scheme.

Although not for sale yet, we know the kit is addressed to kids aged between 10 and 14 and that it’s one of those 2-in-1 packs meaning that the user will have the possibility of building something else. Details about the availability of this Lego Technic Racecar Set are not available at this point but it will likely come out in the months to come and should be an interesting item to own by anyone who is a fan of LMP1 racing, especially the Audi R18 e-tron quattro.
