The Audi Q7 Sport Edition will be sold in limited numbers in United States to serve as the first generation’s swan song. Even though deliveries of the overhauled Q7 have recently started in Europe, Audi of America is still selling the old model and now 750 units of the Sport Edition are heading to dealerships with a number of enhancements both inside and out.
It’s actually a follow-up to the Q7 S Line Sport Edition (pictured) sold last year in UK and in this U.S. guise it wears the S Line exterior package and comes with 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels featuring a high gloss look. The model can also be visually distinguished by the red brake calipers, black side mirror caps, roof rails and exhaust tips, Sport Style plus exterior package and also a black optic package.
Stepping inside the cabin, Audi has fitted the US-spec Q7 Sport Edition with a black headliner, carbon fiber inlays, heated rear seats, extended leather package and an S line steering wheel & shift knob. Last but not least, the limited-run first generation Q7 has also received adaptive air suspension and adaptive cruise control.
Details regarding pricing are not available at this point, but given the generous amount of equipment, it certainly won’t come cheap.
