The Audi Prologue concept has been filmed while roaming the streets of Beverly Hills. Unfortunately the video is only 16 seconds long but at least we get to see the stunning vehicle in real life conditions and it certainly stands out from the crowd with its exquisite design. Speaking of the concept’s aesthetics, it represents the first car which wears the signature of Audi’s new chief designer Marc Lichte.
The concept is more than just for show as it acts as a sneak preview of Audi’s forthcoming design language which will premiere on a production model towards the end of 2016 with the all-new A8 flagship sedan. The Audi Prologue concept might also be a precursor of a new model labeled A9 to compete with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe but confirmed details are not available at this point.
What we do know is that the four-seater concept is powered by a V8 4.0-liter TFSI engine unleashing 605 HP and 750 Nm of torque sent to the quattro all-wheel drive system through an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox. This hardware setup grants the Audi Prologue concept with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in only 3.7 seconds while the top speed has not been specified.
