The first images depicting the Audi Prologue concept have emerged onto the web ahead of a public debut set for this month’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Up until now we referred to the vehicle as the A9 concept but it seems Audi has chosen the “Prologue” moniker for their stunning car which will act as a preview for the company’s forthcoming design language change.
The high-end vehicle is 5.1 meters long, 1.95 meters wide and 1.39 meters tall and according to preliminary reports it’s based on the MLB Evo platform. The Audi Prologue concept features a fresh interpretation of the single-frame grille which now looks significantly sharper and also at the front we notice a pair of slender headlights and strips of LED daytime running lights position below.
Moving towards the back, we notice a considerably sloped roofline, very thin taillights, muscular wheel arches hosting big wheels along with what appears to be a dual trapezoidal exhaust setup providing a muscular appearance.
Details about what powers the concept are not available at this point but previous rumors have indicated the vehicle previews a new flagship model which will spawn an S9 model packing 600 bhp (447 kW) from a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine.
