The Audi Prologue was taken out for a quick spin by Auto Bild on the streets of Los Angeles. The footage was released a short while ago by the German magazine who had the special privilege of using the concept in real traffic conditions and as noticeable in the video, the Prologue clearly stands out from the rest of the crowd with its fresh design.
Speaking of design, it’s actually a taste of what’s to come as far as Audi’s styling is concerned since this is the first product developed since Marc Lichte was appointed in charge of design and this fresh theme will eventually influence all models across the range. The first of the bunch will be the next generation A8 set be unveiled towards the end of 2016 and commercialized as a 2017MY.
The front fascia along with the interior cabin of Audi’s flagship model will feature the most similarities with the concept. Following the A8’s introducing, the next models to get an interior & exterior design influenced by the Audi Prologue concept will be the A6 and A7 lineups and after that it will be trickled down to the less expensive models so prepare for an interesting future in terms of Audi designs under the guidance of Marc Lichte, the person who styled the modern Volkswagen Scirocco.
