Audi has published several design sketches depicting their upcoming Prologue Avant concept bound to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. The concept likely previews a future model set to go up against the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake which will be out in the following 2-3 years or so and will likely be based on the next generation A6 Avant.
Technical details about the appealing vehicle are not available at this point but we do notice the Prologue Avant concept adopts matrix LED headlights and LED taillights while the low roofline grants a sleek profile. Also noticeable are the massive alloy wheels featuring a five-spoke razorblade look while the doors seem to feature retractable handles.
Needless to say, many of the styling cues have been sourced from the Prologue concept which made its debut last November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. That one will pave the way for a new styling language for Audi which will be inaugurated with the next generation A8 and will be followed shortly by the A6 and A7 models.
Stepping inside the minimalistic cabin, you will notice the Prologue Avant concept lacks regular buttons and knobs as these have been replaced by a plethora of OLED touchscreens from where the driver and passenger handle all the car’s functions.
