Audi is previewing the upcoming 24-hour race at the Nurburgring where the new R8 LMS will make its debut in an endurance race. It’s set for this weekend and Audi wants to repeat last month’s success when they obtained their first victory in the VLN Championship.
The rather demanding track is 25.378 km long and is a combination between the GrandPrix circuit and the Nordschleife which was inaugurated back in 1927 as the longest race track in the world. The Nordschleife has no less than 73 corners, several track surface changes and up to 17% of inclines.
