Audi has released a feature video for the 2015 A1 Sportback which has received a minor nip & tuck. It’s actually the first model in the company’s history to ever be offered with a three-cylinder engine. The gasoline engine lineup now starts with a very small 1.0-liter three-cylinder developing 95 HP which provides a combined fuel consumption of 4.3 liters / 100 km. There’s also a three-cylinder 1.4-liter turbodiesel producing 90 HP and offering a fuel consumption of only 3.4 liters / 100 km, with corresponding CO2 emissions of 89 g/km.
In terms of visual changes, there’s not much to talk about but Audi did extend the overall length of the vehicle by two centimeters to 3.98 meters. Customers can order a contrasting color for the roof dome while the customization options have been thoroughly extended, including colored air vents, 15- to 18-inch wheels, an S line sport package, body decorative decals and many more.
The 2015 A1 Sportback has also gone through a series of chassis revisions and customers can order an S line sport suspension or the new Audi drive select dynamic handling system. With the latter, the owner has the possibility to use the auto, efficiency and dynamic modes to alter the engine’s characteristics, adjustable shock absorbers and the optional S tronic transmission.
