Audi has managed to achieve the 52nd consecutive monthly sales record on the U.S. market. In April, the company’s deliveries stateside rose by 7.5% compared to the same month as last year. Audi successful sold no less than 16,827 cars compared to April 2014 when they shifted 15,653 units. In addition, during the first four months of 2015, Audi’s sales in United States went up by 11.9% to 56,925 vehicles.
One of the reasons why sales jumped has to do with an increasing popularity for Audi’s Q models as deliveries of the Q3, Q5 and Q7 models saw a 35.6% boost. Compared to April 2014, sales of the Q5 increased by 14.2% while those of the Q7 rose by 10.8%.
Another popular model which helped Audi take down the consecutive monthly sales record is the A3 which saw a 35.6% sales hike. The Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle sales also set a new record in April by posting a 7.3% gain after selling 3,971 units while year-to-date CPO sales have increased in the first four months of the year by 9%.
