Audi has managed to establish its 46th consecutive record monthly sales in United States in October. Sales last month went up by 16.5% to 15,150 cars while its year-to-date deliveries rose by 14.7% to 146,133 units. This was Audi’s best ever October results, thus beating last year’s previous result of 13,001 units and so far this year Audi has posted eight of the ten best sales months in all of its history in United States.
These achievements were fueled by the increasing popularity of SUV sales, with deliveries of the Q5 during January and October going up by 5.3% while sales of the larger Q7 rose by 21.9%. Moreover, Audi sold 2,380 units of the A3 last month, representing a significant result taking into account the model debuted on the U.S. market in April.
Aside from posting these record monthly sales, Audi also achieved its 15th consecutive month of record sales for certified pre-owned vehicles as back in October deliveries increased by 13.7% to a total of 3,964 units while year-to-date sales of CPOs rose by a significant 18.3%.
According to a report released by MotorIntelligence.com, Audi is holding has the longest monthly record sales streak ever in the premium segment.
