Audi has announced they are now an official MLS partner for the 2015 season which kicked off a few days ago. This is a multi-year partnership between the two and Audi will be the presenting sponsor of the MLS Cup Playoffs for the 20th season of the Major League Soccer. Under this newly established agreement, Audi is going to use MLS intellectual property to establish a connection with fans of soccer from all over North America.
Throughout the entire season, Audi is going to air MLS-themed TV ads during nationally televised games on FOX, ESPN as well as Univision. These commercials will also air during the MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup Playoffs and MLS Cup. The first 30-second TV spot is entitled “The Game” and will highlight the excitement generated by soccer as well as all the emotions felt through the game.
Aside from being a MLS partner, Audi also has existing partnerships with Portland Timbers FC and Seattle Sounders FC through the local dealers. In the near future, the automaker will form other collaborations with teams from MLS. As a reminder, Audi is already associated with important teams from the world, including Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich.
