Audi France has published several photos which appear to depict a new exclusive package for the TTS Roadster. Unfortunately we don’t have official details about the new kit which seems to combine a red exterior paint scheme with a Carmin red leather upholstery combined with a black pattern and matching red stitching.
Chances are this exclusive package will be launched in the near future and won’t be offered only in France as most likely the plan is to offer the kit across all of the entire European markets where the TTS Roadster is sold. This is purely a cosmetic upgrade so the mechanicals have remained the same, with a powerful 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TFSI engine pushing out 310 hp and 380 Nm. It’s enough muscle for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.9 seconds and a 250 km/h top speed which is electronically limited.
Maybe Audi will decide to showcase this TTS Roadster at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show which begins in approximately two weeks. The TT range will be expanded sometime next year by the addition of a range-topping RS model offered in both coupe and roadster body styles which will retain the iconic 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, but massaged to deliver more power.
