Audi Forum Neckarsulm is showcasing these days a brand new second generation R8 V10 painted in Santorini Blue. It also comes with carbon fiber accents on the side blades and engine bay while the alloy wheels have a 10-spoke Y-design. More extensive changes can be noticed on the inside where the supercar has Havana Brown leather on the door panels while the black leather areas come with contrasting brown stitching.
The same brown leather has also been applied onto the seats which have black stitching in a quilted configuration while the roof is covered in tanned Alcantara just like the carpets on the floor. While the interior cabin is mostly for old-fashioned drivers, it is however in contrast with the fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster which offers a plethora of customizations and gives the R8 V10 the feeling of a high-tech machine.
The model depicted in these images is the base R8 V10 with 540 PS and 540 Nm coming out of the 5.2-liter FSI engine whereas the Plus version packs 610 PS and 560 Nm. Both versions have a quattro all-wheel drive system and a seven-speed S tronic transmission enabling the standard model to hit 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds while the Plus model does it in 3.2 seconds.
Deliveries of the new R8 V10 have started recently while those who want the R8 e-tron will have to wait a bit more.
