As Audi enthusiasts, we’ve waited for the launch of the e-tron GT for years, quite impatiently. The all-electric super sedan was our most anticipated car by far and it’s the car we’re currently most excited about from the Audi brand. Which makes today an especially fun day, as the online configurator for the Audi e-tron GT — and its RS e-tron GT performance sibling — just went live.
It’s one thing to see a legacy brand like Audi show off an all-electric concept car but it’s another thing entirely to actually go on the brand’s site and configure one of your own. Seeing the colors, options, and pricing laid out, with the ability to spec our own, makes it seem even more real, which is an awesome feeling. Audi is not only selling an electric car but one that looks as good as the e-tron GT and has the performance to rival genuine super sedans.
When you go to build the Audi e-tron GT, there are three trim levels; Premium, Prestige, and Audi Sport. The latter of which turns it into the Audi RS e-tron GT, packing more power and performance. Prices start at $99,900, $107,100, and $139,900, respectively.
Even the “entry-level” $99,900 Audi e-tron GT Premium comes extremely well-equipped, with things like 20″ wheels, 14-way adjustable front seats, Matrix LED headlights, and front cross traffic assist as standard equipment. Obviously, the equipment levels go up from there.
There are several really good color options available as well, and we’re very happy to see Audi go with such a bold color as Tactical Green on an electric car. I think the color that works the best is Florett Silver Metallic, though. The way it contrasts the black accents is fantastic and it gives the stunning body lines a liquid metal look, while showing off all of the lovely shadows and contours of the body.
Thankfully, there are a few more interior options than usual on the Audi e-tron GT. In order, the interior color options are as follows; Arras Red leather, Black leather, Monaco Gray leather, Santos Brown leather, Black with red stitching, and Black with Alcantara inserts. There are only two trim options, though; carbon fiber and natural walnut.
If you want to spend an additional $20,350(!), you can get an optional Year One package, which brings a ton of unique options. For instance, unique 21″ wheels, carbon fiber exterior bits,18-way seats, laser lights, carbon ceramic brakes, and a Dinamica headliner are all included, among several others.
So if you want to ruin an hour of productivity today, hop on the online configurator here and build your own Audi e-tron GT. We’ve already wasted plenty of time doing it, now it’s your turn.
