Audi has joined forces with Air New Zealand to allow the use of airpoints on the purchase of a car. The airpoints dollars earned while travelling with Air New Zealand will be used from next week to buy a new or used Audi. Those who have airpoints will be able to redeem them not only from the airport but also from any of the Audi authorized dealerships located in New Zealand.
According to local media, airpoint represents the biggest loyalty program available now in New Zealand based on what it gives back to its clients every year. Starting February 2, Airpoints members will have the possibility to use their Airpoints Dollar to acquire Audi vouchers through the Airpoints Store and these can be redeemed on the next car purchase at any of the authorized dealerships in New Zealand.
General Manager Audi New Zealand, Dean Sheed, says that the Airpoints program is rapidly exceeding the 1.75 million members mark and this collaboration with Audi will be fruitful for both parties. He went on to specify that through this collaboration people will have the possibility of earning Airpoints Dollars when buying a car or refilling as well as paying by using the Airpoints earning credit card.
