Audi has announced plans to bring two world debuts in January at the 2015 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) hosted in Las Vegas. Exact details about the two premieres have not been released but they did say one of the cars is going to provide a glance of the company’s “automotive future.” The technology implemented in this car will likely be seen in the next generation A8 which has already been confirmed to boast an optional autonomous system. The next-gen flagship model is set to be revealed towards the end of 2016 and go on sale in the first half of 2017.
Also at 2015 CES next month, Audi is going to showcase several “innovative hardware and software solutions” related to Audi connect, along with new infotainment and lighting technology as well as new advancements as far as user controls and piloted driving are concerned.
Audi’s press conference at 2015 CES is programmed for January 5 at the Audi stand in the North Hall at 11:00 AM. Later on at 12:30 PM, the Audi Tech Talk will kick off at the Convention Center where the company’s technology experts are going to provide the gathered audience with a more in-depth view at the Audi Technical Development and will also answer several questions.
