The Audi Berlinale Lounge has been organized during the 65th Berlin International Film Festival in Germany. Towards the end of last month we found out Audi will be supplying more than 300 cars to the film festival and one of the cars, a TTS Coupe 2.0 TFSI quattro S tronic was given to actor Daniel Brühl who is also a jury member of the event.
Yesterday’s Audi Berlinale Brunch was the home for many prominent guests including Oscar-winner Sir Ken Adam who talked with experts about the current trends in movies and the automobile scene. One of the key topics for the interdisciplinary panel discussions at the Berlinale Open House is the role of the car as an important element in motion pictures.
Audi AG’s Head of Brand Communication Giovanni Perosino along with production designer Sir Ken Adam, actor Wotan Wilke Möhring and film producer Stefan Arndt talked about the most suitable car for a movie in the “Cars in Films – Props and Presentation”. One of the recent product placements for Audi is in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie where no less than five cars are featured:
