Audi Australia has released full pricing details and specifications for the 2015 A1 and Q3 models. The supermini comes with a $400 price hike to $26,900 for the entry-level version equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.0-liter turbo engine producing 70 kW and 160 Nm. It can work with either a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox ($1,350 extra).
Upgrade to the A1 Sport ($27,750) and you get a larger 4-cylinder 1.4-liter turbo with 92 kW and 200 Nm which can be sent to the wheels through an optional S tronic that will set you back at least $30,100. There’s also an A1 S Line version with a 141 kW & 250 Nm 1.8-liter engine coupled only to an S tronic and priced from $39,900. For the 2015MY, Audi has decided to drop the 1.6-liter turbodiesel engine.
Aside from the 2015 Audi A1, the Q3 crossover has also been updated for the new model year which comes with a $600 jump in price to $42,900. For this money you’ll be getting the 1.4 TFSI engine with 110 kW & 250 Nm sent to the front wheels.
There’s also a TDI quattro version from $47,900 with all-wheel drive and a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine developing 110 kW & 340 Nm. Perhaps a more appealing choice is the $52,300 2.0-liter TFSI quattro version featuring a beefier 132 kW & 320 Nm engine. Audi Australia will also sell you a $56,900 TDI Sport quattro with a 2.0-liter diesel producing 135 kW & 380 Nm.
