Audi has disclosed details about the models they will bring to the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Besides bringing classic cars and motorcycles, Audi will also showcase some of their latest models including the second generation R8 supercar, the new Q7 full-size SUV in e-tron specification as well as the RS3 hot hatch. Moreover, those who attend the festival will also get the chance to check out the number 7 R18 e-tron quattro LMP 1 sports prototype of Marcel Fassler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer which participated at Le Mans earlier this month.
Moreover, rally legend Hannu Mikkola will arrive at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed to drive the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 on the 1.16-mile course. There are also going to be a bunch of quattro-equipped models such as the Q3, Q5 and allroad variants of the A4, A6, with the total of Audi-badged vehicles standing at a whopping 24 models.
You will be able to get up close and personal with the RS5 Coupe as well as the TTS Coupe while those who are fans of old cars will have the possibility of checking out the 1939 Auto Union Type D twin-supercharged racecar which will be piloted by “works driver” Nick Mason.
