Audi of America is proud to announce that last month they managed to achieve the 43rd consecutive record sales month. The company’s July sales went up by 11.9 percent compared to the same period of last year as Audi managed to deliver 14,616 units while year-to-date sales in United States jumped by 13.3 percent to 98,965 cars.
It should be mentioned that to date this year, 2014 has produced four of the six best months ever as far as sales in United States are concerned. At the end of July, the company through its dealer network in U.S. had a 47 days’ supply of unsold cars and 29 days of unsold SUVs. One of the best performers was the A3 Sedan which went on sale back in April and was purchased in July by 2,164 clients, making it one of the top three best-selling models.
One-third of all Audi sales consisted of high-end models, with demand for the A8 increasing by 11.3 percent according to Audi of America. In addition, year-to-date sales of the Q7 saw an 8.9 percent increase.
Moreover, July was Audi’s 12th consecutive month of record sales for certified pre-owner cars and it also was the second highest monthly total of all-time, with an increase of 26.6 percent to 4,166 units. Lastly, CPO year-to-date sales also increased by a significant 15.6 percent.
