The latest Audi ad shows the facelifted Q3 as the perfect travel companion while being driven on the streets of Munich in Germany. Although updated, the styling tweaks were kept down to a minimum as Audi went for a subtle evolutionary design with a revised singleframe trapezoidal front grille, lightly modified xenon plus headlights (LED optionally available) and revised LED taillights, with both light clusters benefiting from dynamic turn signals.
As far as the engine lineup is concerned, the compact crossover is available with three TFSI and three TDI engines which are all Euro 6 compliant and have a displacement varying from 1.4 liters to 2.0 liters. Output kicks off at 120 HP and goes all the way up to 220 HP for the regular models but Audi is also offering a range-topping RS Q3 with a larger 2.5-liter five-cylinder rated at 340 HP and 450 Nm which makes it 30 HP and 30 Nm more powerful than the pre-facelift variant.
With 420 liters available in the trunk and 340 HP under the hood, the RS Q3 could in fact be the best travel companion as it offers the best of both worlds. Obviously, the Audi ad here doesn’t show the flagship RS Q3 variant but its lesser TFSI engine should be punchy enough for most drivers.
